Mushroom Musume version 0.23: Death and Decay Update

For this update, we spent the month preparing a variety of little tricks and treats in celebration of Halloween! We're big fans of the spooky season here, so we made sure to show that affection off in this update. Here's some new stuff to look forward to:

👧⚰️ Two New Sections in the Mushroom Almanac!

We've been hard at work expanding the Mushroom Almanac, and this month we come bearing two new collections! If you've ever wanted to see all of your beautiful daughters in one place, then the Daughters Grown section will be quite useful to you.

There's also an Endings Discovered section now that will show you exactly how many different fates your daughters have met with. How many have survived this ordeal known as life? How many have fallen to this cruel world?? Now you will know these numbers for a fact! How many of our 26 endings can you discover?

💀Speaking of Which... Death is Coming!

Stats are now slightly more vital to your daughter's long term survival. If any of her stats fall beneath 0 then you may find that her story will come to a tragically short end...

🕸️Explore a Witch's Mansion in a Storybook Adventure (Plus, Other New Events!)

Listen to a story and be whisked away to a whole new world. In this story, you play a young girl (but perhaps not the type you've grown used to) who has stumbled on a strange mansion in this haunting, yet humorous, mini-adventure game! If you've ever wanted to EXPLORE or EXAMINE, this one's  for you! There's also an assortment of other events added to thrill and chill you. Explore a graveyard, get buried alive, or change your stripes... The choice is yours!

✨Learn More About Your Young Daughter

We've gotten some feedback that the player may not always understand why their daughter turned out the way they did. This is an issue we've been thinking of solutions to for a while, and we think we've made some progress on that front! We've added a couple of new UI elements to your growing daughter's information screen - now you can see her disposition and general quality, which may give some hints about what type of woman she'll turn out to be! (Also, a new particle to help you see when you gain some of this mysterious 'quality' stat)

...And all of that isn't even to mention all the new music, sound effects, and general polish that we've put into this one!

PS: We've added a handful of fun seasonal colors to this update too! You can find this^ color in game, but to discover the rest you have to know the right password... Hm...
