The world of Mushroom Musume is vast, and the Daughter is only one person living in it. Occasionally, characters may offer to tell you a story about someone else... One of these stories is the Revenger's Story, where you follow a young woman on a quest in this RPG-within-an-RPG!

We've been getting some bug reports about issues affecting this story, and with your help we think we've been able to fix those and create a new bugfix build. Now is a great time to seek this story out, if you haven't yet!

Mushroom Musume is still in development and we're a small team, so sometimes bugs are tricky for us to always diagnose and deal with... To help people who run into game breaking bugs, I've been working on a little secret system to help free their daughters. If you previously beat the Revenger's Story but your game froze before you could complete your run, download the newest build and send us an email at mortallymoonstruckgames@gmail.com and you can help us test this new daughter-recovery-system...!

PS: We're planning a big new update for October! Take this screenshot as a teaser. This will be the last content pack before we start work on our 'final' big update: the "Definitive Steam Release" (we'll sell it on itch too though, don't  worry). We've been hard at work on some fun stuff, and we're excited to share more with you soon!

UPDATE:
Just a heads up, it looks like the Android build was still having some issues so I reverted it back to the .4 version for now (prior to the Revenger Story fix). I'm currently investigating the issue and will hopefully be able to update with a fixed-fixed android version shortly.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
I've done some testing, and I believe I've fixed the Android issues! We updated versions of Renpy between updates and some keys got shuffled around... but we've got that sorted out now (I think). If you are currently playing version .4, you should now be able to update to the newest version, .4b2, without uninstalling the game or losing any of your save information. It should retain any saves you've had on .4 previously, even if you uninstalled it (like, for example, to update to .4b -- a broken version we had briefly released). 

If you're one of the 123 people who downloaded version .4b, then as a warning: these saves are going to be stored in a different place than other versions. If you want to update you'll need to uninstall .4b, and when you reinstall the new version you won't have any of the saves or persistent unlocks you had on .4b. I'm sorry about that! From here on out I think it should be good though.

Sorry to the people affected by this! Android is hard! (Also most of the testing for this is done on my phone, people with different androids may have different results x_x)
