Mushroom Musume version 0.22: Aesthetics Update

Changelog:

•  A new Almanac section, the Chroma Collection! With a cuter layout, color selection is more intuitive than ever.

Mushroom Musume's Aesthetics update brings numerous changes to the UI and art, a couple of new songs, and some new events and challenges too!

🎨 A Splash of Color

Browse the new Chroma Collection! With a smoother layout, color selection is now more intuitive than ever.

🔣 Better Understand Your Choices

When making a choice, have you ever worried that you don't have the right stuff? Now, choice cards have a symbol that represents something about the choice. Maybe it's a cost, or maybe it's a type of stat that will help your daughter perform her best in that scenario. Or maybe it's something entirely different!

🧚 A New Title Screen

This one's pretty self explanatory I guess... I just thought it looked nice... (Our new title graphic, coincidentally, was provided by our musician Zaozoruzhna!)

❄️ Snowier Winters

One thing that we're slowly working on is distinguishing the seasons from one another. Eventually this will take the form of seasonal events (maybe your daughter will create a snow mushroom, or perhaps she could even have a fun beach trip in the summer!). For now, we hope you'll accept an offering of snow! This snow marks when you begin your daughter's final challenge.

🪱 A Clearer Image

Sometimes, your daughter may acquire special traits. Surely this has left your eyes wanting, devastated that none of these things can literally be seen. This update marks the start of us adding sprites for some of these traits. Now you can see your pet worm, in striking 2 bit art! (And some other  things too, I guess...)

☠️ And of course... New Events!

Daring daughters can seek out challenges about romance, adventure, skeletons, and witches with the addition of some cute and creepy new events.

🍂 Finally - Coming soon... Death and Decay

This month we'll be working on Mushroom Musume's Death Update; adding improvements to dying, stat loss, and perilous dangers - as well as new collections for lost daughters and endings! Expect these along with  new spooky events and content, coming this October!
